ABOUT ME

Kent Horse Therapies offers a mobile equine therapy service visiting horses and ponies in Kent and surrounding areas.

I completed my ICAT Equine Sports Massage Diploma in 2007 with a distinction. 

I then went on to complete my Equine EMMETT Practitioner, and Reiki Practitioner training.

I also have qualifications in Human Therapeutic and Sports Massage Sports Therapy and Human and Canine EMMETT Therapy.

I have had the pleasure of caring for my own horses and ponies for over thirty years, and have enjoyed competing at local and county level showing. 

After leaving school I worked in a veterinary practice for six years, before leaving to manage a livery yard.

After one of my own horses sustained an injury, my vet suggested I book an equine therapist to compliment the veterinary care my horse was receiving.

I found the visit extremely interesting and saw first hand how beneficial massage therapy could be for my own horse.  This sent me on a journey of study and training for a number of years to be able to provide this form of therapy myself.
