THE VETERINARY ACT 1966
I work within the guidelines of the Veterinary Act 1966. This act safeguards the wellbeing of your horse.
It means only a fully qualified and insured therapist can visit your horse or pony.
If your horse or pony is in good health and registered with a veterinary practice, then equine massage can be used as part of their wellness regime.
If however they are currently receiving any veterinary treatment or have any history of injury or illness, then I will need to contact your veterinary practice to obtain consent before I visit.
